Dozens of books have been written about the phenomenon at Loch Ness. Even if you're profoundly interested in the subject, it could take years to pour through all of them. Which ones should you select, at least to start out with?

Tim Dinsdale was one of the most prominant Loch Ness explorers of the late 20th century. In addition to spending a lot of time studying the loch, filming one of the most famous videos, and writing numerous books, Tim Dinsdale served as an inspiration to many who have entered the scientific field looking for the truths about the world around us.

He's one of the most respected scientists who has devoted time to cryptozoology and the search for unknown and interesting animals in the depths of Loch Ness and even into the Congo. Two of his books are listed below and you should definitely check them out!

Also look at Field Guide to Lake Monsters, Sea Serpents, and Other Mystery Denizens of the Deep if you can find it... it's usually sold pretty cheap.
